Here is a run down of Reward Point Values....
1 for each post.
20 for each article worthy of the BBS Insider.
5 for a team overview.
5 for a FOF one on one.
5 for making the playoffs.
5 for winning 50 or more games.
10 for winning your division.
10 for winning the 1st seed in your conference.
25 for winning the BBS Crown
Post any suggestions for other point values.

Maybe like 2 points for trades, bcoz some of us including me focus more on that part of the sim then most

What about points for Player of the Week, Player of the Month, Allstar, end of season awards... or even points for single game milestone or season or career for instant 50 points in a game 20 rebounds or 30 to 35 ppg per year or whatever. If you don't know what I'm suggesting you can ask me on AIM

1 point for each win (eg 50 wins=50points), 25 points for an allstar, 100 points for the winner of the 3pt and dunk contests.
and points should go to teams, not to gm's, then the new gm's arent starting at scratch

and if its too much, put someone in charge, i think player of te week is too and single game milestones is a little much tho.

Sorry I haven't had time to respond for this. I agree single game is too much I was just throwing it out there but I believe there should be some sort of point values for End of Season Awards...

Man well this doesnt promote going young lol or rebuilding, you have mostly here points for just winning. I agree with him in that aspect but i don't like the trade idea . i dont think u should just make trades to just make trades. but the point system does not help a rebuilding sytem too much. |

Im not up for making this too complex. It takes enough time to compile the points as is, and I really havent felt there have been any compelling arguments to add any new ways to earn points.
Winnings obviously gets you points. 50 wins, division titles, all get points. I dont wanna get into division records.
There are many opportunities to earn points with articles or FOF.
And simple posting. Im pretty lenient with post padding, so post away, theyre free points.

No I think he did. If I remember, Boston had like 30 points for him to "work with". Obviously 100 is the minimum needed, but I still think he was given some points.
For Manas I don't think he's going to get to 100, so it doesn't really matter.

Also, its for sub 25 yo's, which you have none. Nate started late with Boston, and made up points quick with the sigs he made. If you do articles you can make up points quick as well. |

I think more of the emphasis should be placed on rebuilding, or league activity. Giving points to teams for winning only makes them stronger, and thus keeps the league more "seperated" as far as good teams and bad teams.

The most points you can get is for activity, the articles(other then the championship). They are also perhaps the easiest to do. |
