The player youd most like to build around, and why: Being able to have a big presence in the paint is important to any team that thinks they're going to win a title. For that reason, I would want to build around Yao Ming. He's one of the best centers in the league today, very popular with the Asian fanbase, thus making it possible to expand the team's fanbase a long way. Yao puts butts in the seats, and as the owner of a team, there's absolutely no way to not be happy with that.
