as far as time spent on here i just figured out how to use the site it took two days for me to get my activation code and if anyone wants to criticize my top 10 thats fine . the top 5 players r the top five at each position that i would like to have on my team. top 10 players i take into mind the players that surround them and the stats they will rack up

The point is to not only list the positions in order, but the top 10 in order. Thats the purpose, to see how well someone knows the NBA.
Also its a device to see how much time and effort is put in, so we get an idea of how important being in this league is.
The name calling is uneccesary, but calling out someone for being inconsistent in ranking players in understandable.

I can only judge people by what they post, and what they tell me, and based on your post, I do question how thourough youd be in this league. I dont control the activation code, and I never said I had a problem with how quickly you posted a wait list application. If you wouldave stated, in no particular order, then maybe I woulda thought thats what youre doing. When people make lists, of any kind, I assume it is in an "order".

theres no doubt in my mind that i would be good in this league i have a mind for sports and a creative one. if you have another opinion thats ok cause ur entitled to on if you want a thourough list here you go.
to get a taste of what i want to do with my team is trade mike bibby and give the starting job to stinson he is younger cheaper with more potential and a better handle and defense. 2nd i would like to build the team around laimbeer and try to add a more stable center to help him out in the paint.
PG. 1. Steve Nash 2. marbury 3. kidd 4. bibby 5. francis SG. 1. kobe bryant 2. wade 3. t mac 4. allen 5. pierce SF. 1. lebron james 2. marion 3. artest 4. Peja 5. kierlinko PF. 1. Kevin Garnett 2. Duncan 3. nowitzki 4 amare 5. jermaine o' neal C. 1. Shaquille o'neal 2. Ben Wallace 3. Illgauskas 4. Brad Miller 5. okefor
top 10 players 1. K G 2. Lebron James 3.Tim Duncan 4.Dirk Nowitzki 5.Kobe Bryant 6.Steve Nash 7. Dwyane wade 8.Shaq 9. T Mac 10. Marion
favorite team New York Knicks
player i would most like to build around is Le Bron gets points assists steals and rebounds. I am big on assists and steals and when they can come from a player thats not your point guard then its a good support for your point guard. I am huge on defense and he has a long wing span which provides blocks steals and shut down d. He is also versatile because he plays many positions. This is huge because injuries occur and he may need to be called to do things in which your prototypical sf doesn't do. And also I do believe he will develop into one of the greatest of all time. I say one of the greatest because it is undetermined whether he will be up there with mj magic and bird.

Haha you just want this guy in the league so he can be another rookie GM for you to take advantage of
Please explain to me though since your very brilliant in this whole list thing how you can have your 5th ranked SG in a list of the 10 best players in the NBA when your second and third guy are missing. Please because Im confused as in how you find it logical.
To the guy I called an idiot I apologize in calling you an idiot it was just two or three previous guys whent out of chronological order and it was starting to get annoying

"Keith Clarke [SIC] is your best player" Ha. The guy's good, fine, but best player? Why are your critcizing a guy in his first day who has shown a definite rebuilding through free agency strategy? Shove it, clowny. I think Pig put it best.

Favorite Team: Dallas Mavericks
Player to Build Around: Shawn Bradley, no doubt. He has experience and can teach the young players how to be great defensive centers. Also, when the opponent gets on a fast break and Bradley is in front of the rim, we all know very well who's going to win that battle.

hope you guyz realize i was just kidding, but if you agree with that list, the power to ya!
my contact info is correct up there
just felt like mentioning, was originally referred to be the Hawks GM replacement, but it was at a busy time, so i rejected the offer, now i have lots of time on my hand. I don't care if i get a crappy team or a decent one, or merely stay on the waiting list forever, just felt like doing this just in case
C 1. Ben Wallace - one of the best defensive centers and can rebound like no other, even at his height 2. Brad Miller - He's solid at scoring and rebounding and even passes, which makes a center more attractive 3. Shaquille O'Neal - He's still dominating, but i think he's getting pretty old and still ain't the shaq of the old 4. Yao Ming - Can't dominate and i still think he looks too thin to hang with the big guys, but he could develop soon enough 5. Zydrunas Ilgauskas - really wanted to put emeka here, but those stats aren't that great considering it was one season and it was on the bobcats. Big Z is a textbook center and is great at his job PF 1. Tim Duncan - I don't care is Garnett's numbers looks better. Duncan busted his butt playing for his country over the summer and Garnett was back here enjoying his summer. 2. Amare Stoudamire - He's competing with James in my eyes to be the most dominating player in the NBA in the future 3. Kevin Garnett - see above with Duncan 3. Dirk Nowitzki - Scoring Machine 5. Elton Brand - Even from his rookie season, you had to know that he would be great.
SF 1. Andrei Kirilenko - He can do it all and only Marion could have similar capability to achieve a nightly 5 by 5. 2. Shawn Marion - AK got the nod over Marion cuz Kirilenko's defense is too impressive. 3. Ron Artest - Could be first as long as he played the whole season. He began it by lighting it up and averaging 25 points per game. A shame that brawl happened. 4. Tracy McGrady - Was kind of quiet last season, but we all know he's capable of being the top scorer in the NBA. 5. Peja Stojakovic - Almost a given from beyond the arc and that's hard to find in a player
SG 1. LeBron James - Do I even need to explain this one? 2. Kobe Bryant - still a great catalyst for a team, but can be very selfish 3. Dwayne Wade - had an amazing season, but i'd ahve to see it happen again to truly believe 3. Vince Carter - can light up a game easily 4. Larry Hughes - can handle the point and play tons of D and score.
PG 1. Allen Iverson - he can score and pass and steal, 'nuff said 2. Baron Davis - he almost like an iverson and can definately lead a team 3. Steve Nash - sure he gets the assists, but he's on a fast break Suns, so that lowers that number in my eyes 4. Stephon Marbury - hate his attitude and cockiness, but you gotta admit, he brings it every night 5. Gilbert Arenas - his inability to be consistant brought him down to 5
Top 10 1. LeBron James 2. Tim Duncan 3. Allen Iverson 4. Kobe Bryant 5. Andrei Kirilenko 6. Shawn Marion 7. Amare Stoudamire 8. Dwayne Wade 9. Kevin Garnett 10. Ron Artest
Favorite Team: the Utah Jazz
Player to Build Around Amare Stoudamire. Like I said, i think he's going to be the real deal and could be one of the most dominating Power Forwards in history.

I'm a very big basketball fan. I live in the New York area, love the Knicks, and enjoy simulation leagues. I've been doing fantasy sports for 5+ years now, and wanted to try out a league such as this one that clearly has great members, and a long history.
I'm good friends with many members of this league (they say they're called "the big three", Mark, Aaron, and Pig). They talk about it all of the time, and I am interested in joining. So, here are my lists:
Before I get into that, the player that I would most like to build around is Amare Stoudemire. I realize that LeBron has insane talent (one of the best to come into the league in quite some time), but I still view a big man as the key to a title. For that reason, Amare is my guy. He's a tremendously athletic 4/5, can run the court, finish, and has a quickly-developing post game. His touch and penetration ability off the dribble creates a mismatch, regardless of who is guarding him.
My lists:
C: 1. Shaq. Regardless of Amare's talent (who I view as a center), the first spot still belongs to him. Great presence, even in his 30s. 2. Amare. See above for reasoning. 3. Yao. Best touch out of any big. If he could develop post position (and fire), he'd be unstoppable. 4. Brad Miller. Great passing big, fundamenttaly sound. 5. Ben Wallace. The best defender of the bunch. Falls down here due to competition, not talent level.
Power Forward. 1. Tim Duncan. Perhaps the best player in the NBA. Mr. Fundamental. A winner. 2. Kevin Garnett. Versatility. If he could just take that T'Wolves team to a couple more conference finals (or finals, for that matter), he'd top this list. 3. Jermaine O'Neal. Better rebounding numbers would bring him closer to the big 2, but regardless he's as good a scorer as any. 4. Elton Brand. Has a complete game, 20/10, great rebounder. 5. Dirk Nowitzki. Such a mismatch. Not a great defender, though, which is why he falls.
Small Forward: 1. LeBron James. Best talent in the league. Complete game (unselfish, developing defensively, etc). 2. AK. Most versatile defender at the 3. Fills the stat sheet. His offensive game won't scare anyone, but he can do it inside and out. 3. Shawn Marion. Essentially, see above. 4. Ron Artest. Similar to the above two, but with a better outside shot (at least over AK). Can lock down any wing. 5. Paul Pierce. Complete offensive game.
Shooting Guard. 1. Kobe Bryant. Beast on both sides of the court. 2. D-Wade. His penetration ability puts him ahead of T-Mac. 3. Tracy McGrady. Offensive beast. 4/5 (tie): AI/Vince. Honestly, couldn't decide here (Mark and Aaron argued for over an hour on it. Kinda pathetic, actually). AI with the better handle, Vince with the better shot.
Point Guard:
1. Jason Kidd. Best point guard in the game. 2. Steve Nash. Great vision, passing, etc. Shot is so consistent. 3. Mike Bibby. Great scorer/passer, just below the top 2 as a playmaker. 4. Gilbert Arenas. Best offensive player at the position. 5. Chauncey Billups. Can bang up any defender, great scorer, plays solid team defense.
Top ten players 1. Tim Duncan 2. Kevin Garnett 3. Kobe Bryant 4. LeBron James 5. Dwayne Wade 6. Shaq 7. Jason Kidd 8. Steve Nash 9. Amare Stoudemire 10. Jermaine O'Neal Aided by Mark and Aaron, spent some time, hope to join.
