Even though it is almost three hours I loved every minute of it. The fighting is some of the best I've seen in a movie and the story is one of my alltime favorites. Whether its the acting, the dialogue, or anything else I loved it.
My friend from Scotland hates all English people because of what happened then and this movie makes him go nuts when he watches it... you better watch your back Danny.

Great movie...although the "REAL" story is a tad different.

yeah... the real story is pretty different... I was disappointed with that but iit is a great movie nevertheless

The real story line was close to the end, they just couldnt show all that happen to him it would be way to graphic, One of my favorite movies of all time maybe my best medieval type.

The real story line was close to the end, they just couldnt show all that happen to him it would be way to graphic, One of my favorite movies of all time maybe my best mid evil type. Actually the overall theme is the same, but the story was "Hollywood-ized"....for example, in real life, Wallace didnt have a wife that got murdered. And apparently the real Wallace was like 6'6...so he was a baller. |

Yeah... one thing that you don't see in movie is that Scotland didn't win independence (end battle that isn't shown) for like 9 years after Wallace's death when it makes it like it occured not long after it
