I don't really see the Heat as a suprise team but they have the best chance for success imo
The Heat is the only team from East at this point I see getting into playoffs and while many of the West teams have a chance I don't see any making it into 2nd round which is where the real playoffs begin in the West imo

yao, lebron, ford, and buck could lead the heat to the playoffs this year. they'll be the suprise team.

I must admit I voted for myself, I definately seem to be more optimistic about my team than other GM's (but then again, what GM doesn't feel that way about their team?). Thank being said, I am very interested to see how the Rockets do, I feel they'll outdo most people's expectations.

I think the Laker's are the surprise team this year. Past seasons they came close to landing that 8th seed spot, and with the new improvements on the roster they are destined to do well.

Honestly I dont think it is too much of a stretch to say they're the favorite to be division champs.

you've gotta almost feel sorry for the spurs. 92ppg in their 14 games in preseason, without their 2013 pick.
