I'd say it will take two years--get some nice players through the draft and free agency, and let them develop.

I say next year....they're on and off every other year. Plus with all the cap space, TMac, and two potentially high picks...they can make some noise this upcoming year. If everything pans out they can end up with Floyd, free agent or Drexler, TMac, free agent, another free agent or Sampson.
Obviously things have to go right but in the West...I think they'll make some noise.

I've been out of the league for a while, but I have definately noticed that depth is perhaps more important now than ever before. I just dont see them making the playoffs next year, and beyond that it'll matter completely on the trades they choose to make.

I say three years, I think they will have another bad year, this one coming, and then it will take some time before their young players develop into stars.
