We could speed the league up a tad, our drafts would be off a little, and some younger players would perform sligthly different, but we could run a very realistic league, while also going a year or two ahead of the NBA. Obviously the draft classes would be off, because we would run drafts based purely on speculation of which players would declare as opposed to who is really gonna be in each draft. Its definately food for thought, and Id be interested in some feedback.

I think the speed of the league is frustrating at times. BUT, I also really like the idea of maintaining a sim league that is based on true NBA stats as well. It keeps the league grounded. Once we speed up, I think we lose the ability to make persuasive cases for ratings increases.
My two cents I think.

The speed of the league, I think should be increased, but just slightly. I hate leagues that are in their sixth or seventh season and have players in it that don't even exist.
Maybe instead of simming 3 days every Wednesday and Saturday, maybe 5 or even 6 days might make it better.

Well if I did speed up the league it would be only slightly. I figure we could get a season ahead and it wouldnt affect our drafts, or the realism of our ratings to much.

im all for increasing sims or going a little bit ahead of the nba
it makes GM's work harder, instead of saying, well, this guy got 14 ppg and this guy got 12 so i cant do that deal, we will be able to use our minds, and the adjustments can still be made

I personally don't like the league speed but joined cause SDOG convinced me to.
If you want to go faster I can supply you with tons of prospects.
