Free Agency Period Contract Offers

This has been in the works for awhile and while be implemented next offseason....


There will be 4 FA sims each offseason

Sim 1- Day 1
Sim 2-Day 2
Sim 3-Day 3
Sim 4-Days 4 and 5

The first 3 sims, days 1, 2 and 3 are for contracts starting at over 1 million dollars. This includes LLE, and MLE offers. Birds rights offers, and teams with cap room offers. There will be no minimum offers accepted on the first 3 days of Free Agency.

The 4th sim will allow minimum offers over PM. You can offer up to 20 minimum offers(1 or 2 years in length)in a PM to me. All other contract offers will be posted on the boards like usual.

Essentially no minimum offers will be offered the first 3 days of Free Agency and no minimum offers will be posted on the boards. This is the main difference.

Good idea since post padding can come from min offers

Some teams offer the same contracts multiple times.

Some teams offer 20 minimum offers when they have 1 roster spot.

Not naming names, but this year was particularly annoying.
