Lots of small injuries...
Brand, Bosh, Shard all were injured, along with some lower quality players.
Atlantic....
Magic have won 4 straight, tied with the Heat for the division lead. Nets have lost 3 in a row, pulling up the rear in the Atlantic still.
Central....
Pistons have lost 2 straight, now 16-4, still in the lead. Raptors 2nd, 12-6. Cavs are great with the new GM, won 4 straight. Loaf is a genius!
Midwest....
Spurs are 13-5, lead the division. TWolves right behind at 8-4. Nuggets and Mavs still battling for last place.
Pacific....
Kings are on fire, have won 5 straight, and now are in 1st place. Miracle! Warriors are 500, and in the midst of a rebuild. Lakers have the worst record, but dont have their pick.... Oh the agony!

Congrats to Loaf. Great first sim, I never wouldve even consider an outside focus for the Cavs, but it has worked wonderfully. Good job!

Congrats to Loaf. Great first sim, I never wouldve even consider an outside focus for the Cavs, but it has worked wonderfully. Good job! Thanks! I was hoping to go 2-1 (a split with a very good Detroit team and a win versus the Hawks) but I'll certainly take the 3 wins. My reasoning behind the very fast, outside focus was this: 1) My team is full of young guys (other than 'Dre Miller) so they should be able to get out and run - especially with Andre Miller's A+ handles leading the break. I also have some very good defenders to key the break. 2) I have some great outside shooters at PG/SG/SF. Eric Gordan, Delfino, Cook & Conley are all excellent shooters and play defense well enough to be in my rotation. Miller's outside rating isn't great but he surprised me and managed to hit 9-13 from three that Sim. 3) I know that many people would have chose an inside focus for the Hawks and banged the ball inside to Oden and McRoberts. I love the fact that they have B+ inside ratings - but they don't need to be a focus (or in my teams case, even an option) to be effective. Both are A- rebounders are are capable of cleaning up the offensive boards when my guys miss jumpers. This is where those B+ ratings come in real handy - finishing off those rebounds. Miller is also a very useful rebounder in this offense because his C rating helps him get lots of the long rebounds that happen ineviatbly from shooting threes. That being said, I still expect this team to struggle sometimes. Outside shooting can be streaky and young guys can be inconsistent. McRoberts is also out for the 1st game next Sim and my post depth is not good behind him and Oden. All in all though, I'm pleased with my first BBS sim

Andre Miller had a huge Sim - 31.3ppg, 7rpg, 10apg, 59.6% FG, 9-13 (69.2%) from 3
Oden had a good Sim too - 21ppg, 12.7rpg, 3apg, 2.7bpg, 69.4% FG
Eric Gordon and Josh McRoberts (in the two full games that he played) also averaged over 20ppg for the Sim, although Gordon shot very poorly from the field and from three.
Overall, for the three games, the team shot 50.4% from the field & 51.9% from three

Injuries are the best! They're even better when your two top players get injured at the same time!
Gotta love the effort in the 2nd game against Minne...way to go boys!

Mayo just isn't getting the shots I want him to get. I'm going to have to switch mine to an outside focus. Donaldson will still score, and Bailey has been everything I could have hoped for and more as a non-option.

The individual performances are pretty good, but wins are very hard to come by. It's getting a bit frustrating. 1-3 today, 6-12 on the season for the Pacers.
Kevin Branch continues to shine for us, making me believe it was worth it to sign him to that longterm contract. Might give him a shot as #1 option, since Gay and McHale have been very inconsistent in that role so far.
