My streak finally came to an end. Still have a chance at 70 though ;D
Races are tight in both divisions, with injuries possibly playing a big role in the East. Grant Hill and Michael Finley from NY, Shannon Brown from ATL and Ray Felton from TOR are all injured for the rest of the regular season and some if not all of the playoffs.
The Knicks have their divison clinched, bit with Hill and Finley out for some of the first round, things could be diffcult against either the Heat or the Nets.
The Hawks and Raptros are battling for home court advantage in the 4-5 playoff matchup, and both teams will be without their starting point guards. The Mo Williams pickup by Toronto is looking huge right now.
The Nets and Heat are trying to hold off the Pacers for the last playoff spot. The Heat and Nets both play games on each of the final 4 days, while the Pacers only have 2 games left. If the Nets and Heat can split their last 4 games, they are in.
In the West the Warriors recent purge of injuries has allowed the Sonics to challenge for the Pacific crown, while the T'Wolves challenge for the #1 seed as well. The Warriors control their own fate, having games in each of the final 4 days. If they can win 3 of 4, they will be the top seed, regardless of what the Sonics and T'Wolves do. If the Warriors play poorly, they could drop to a 3 seed.
The Kings, Clippers and Rockets are battling for the 7th and 8th spots. And although it appears as though the Mavs are in, sitting at the 7th spot, if they lose their final 2 games it could get sticky.
As for the race for OJ. The Celtics season is done, and they have the inside track on the most lotto balls. The Bucks have 2 games left, and if they lose both, the Celts and Bucks will be tied for the worst record in the BBS, which means theyd both have an equal amount of ball in the lotto.
Should be a pretty exciting finish in both conferences. Final regular season sim will be tomorrow morning.
