Giants have been rumored in the running for Ugueth Urbina, Steve Finley, Orlando Cabrera and Carlos Beltran. Sabean is the master of the deadline deal, so hopefully he can get someone. Id love Beltran, but he isnt our biggest need, and it seems like hed cost Matt Cain, someone Id rther not deal.

I am hearing the Marlins might deal Brad Penny for Paul LaDuca. I would do that in a second. We need a catcher that can hit. I also here if Randy Johnson goes to the Yankees, the Marlins will be the third team in the deal getting Jose Contreas and Brett Mayne. They would be giving up Jason Stokes and one of their best pitching prospects Murphy.

The LA Dodgers have a trade pending for Charles Johnson, but Johnson has to waive his no trade clause which he should.
Now the Marlins will be getting the catcher they wanted since the offseason. It is a three team deal.
Dodgers get-
Penny
Chio
Finley
Marlins get-
La Duca
Encarnacion
Mota
D-Backs get-
Murphy(from the fish)

i hope the red sox do somethin and get Randy Johnson which is nearly impossible though

Wat are the Mets doing. Before the season they said they wanted to get young. Okay I could understand that you are doing bad so you look to the future. Now the are SIX games out of first place, give me a break trading away your top 3 prospects in your system because they think they still have a shot. With the Marlins getting LaDuco the Mets are not winning the division. It's between 3 team Braves, Marlins, Phillies. Just don't understand why you throw away your future for two pitchers that aren't even that great. I hope Benson bits the Mets in the ass and doesn't resign with them since he is a FA.
