If by chance you are lucky enough to have this team, what would you do with them? Who would you keep? Who would you deal? Thats a plan.

I plan on keeping the core of the team (O'Neal,Paul,Kobe) and trying to upgrade at C or SF.

Give it to Reggie. He doesn't like to think about losing.

So far, I see no one worth considering. My two cents.
APPLICANTS, if you can't take the time to put together a reasonable plan, strategy, editorial, mission statement... Something more than 3 sentences, then how can you expect us to believe you will put any time into managing a team? Much less one of the best franchises in BBS?
Perhaps you are looking for Yahoo Fantasy Basketball instead?

Its not like this isnt one of the best sims around. Its worth the extra 5 minutes to actually but a whole paragraph together.

I see, what else is there to say? The Pistons are a elite team in this league and the only thing worth doing is to upgrade at teh C and SF positions and maybe boost the bench a bit. I promise to be active however exploring options to upgrade those positions. My mission is as every team's goal is to with the Chip. My strategy is to press and trap alot and i mean always press and trap, Im one for playing Defense. As I said before the core of the team will remain while everyone else would be on the block. Hope this is better..........

Lol, that'd be real cool if we could swing that....if it's a pain in the ass don't worry about it but if it's possible that'd be great.
Thanks.

Its hard to say of my "plan" for this team but I know I would be well qualified for the job. First off your team has a lot of talent. I am not sure of the chemistry of this talent. I couldn't tell you right now that I would deal this guy or that guy because as of now I don't know. I would scout the league and see what other rosters I could possibly deal with and see if they are interested in any of the guys I have on my team. In my opinion there doesn't seem to be much role players on the bench. Kobe Bryant is a scorer and is replaced by Jerry Stackhouse which is a scorer. Not that this is a bad thing but I would like to see more variety on the bench or maybe to possibly upgrade the SF postion with the some of the depth at some positions. My favorite part of this team is the solid backcourt presence of Miller and O'Neal. I like May off the bench to develop over time. I would like to see some more height at the PG position. Guards could really expose that as a weakness since Paul(6') and Boykins is a generous 5'5. I like Boykins as a spark off the bench and I love Paul but I taller guard coming off the bench would be something that would interest me. I wouldn't mind trying to aquire a more defensive oriented player for the SF postion and a pure shooter coming off the bench at the SG spot. I mean this is really tough to say my "plan" but the only plan I have is to take this team up and to never look back.

Interesting. Give me a DC based on the team now, and what your scoring options would be. Read up on the league rules as well so youre more informed if you do get the job.

If I were the GM of the Pistons, I would undoubtedly deal Jermaine O'Neal to the Spurs for basically nothing.

Plan: This year, I will definately do all I can to win a championship. I will try to deal Jamison and Brad Miller (and their $20 million) for an upgrade at SF, either one with a big contract that some team is looking to dump, or a player with a smaller salary on a team with cap space. I will put Biedrins at C, where he should do a very good job. My projected lineup would be Paul, Kobe, whoever I get for Miller and Jamison, O'Neal, and Biedrins. If that lineup does, will and goes far into the playoffs, I will keep the same team together for the next few years (Kobe, Paul, O'Neal, and Biedrins are all under contract for atleast 5 more years.) If the team struggles, I will look to make an explosive young team, out of my Paul, May, Williams, Smith, 3 1sts in 2010, my 2 1sts in 211, and whatever young players Kobe and O'Neal bring me. Either way, I see me winning a title with the Pistons in the years to come.
