With the first month of the young 2008 BBS season in the books, i thought i would summarize what has happened.
Shaq's "Rebound"
Ok well its not neccesarily a rebound, but the big fella's numbers are starting to look like the big fella's numbers. It looks like a return to hollywood has given him a boost of energy. He is up in almost every main category, and with not as many scoring options as in Detroit, he seems contempt with sharing the scoring duty with A.I.
Rookie Update
I know, I know, its too early to tell. But does anyone else feel that O.J. Mayo is underacheiving? He was supposed to make an impact right away, but if you compare his numbers and the magics Beasley (#2 pick) they dont differ that much. Mayo is the Hornets 2nd scoring option, and hes playing 36 minutes a game, i think we all just expected for him to contribute more right away. Watch out though, as the season goes on and as he gets a grove for a BBS he should be a force to reckon with. I am though very impressed with Clevelands McRoberts, who took home rookie of the month honors. Almost averaging a double double, but will need to do more to have the Cav's winning.
November Mentionables
WOW:
Through 13 games K.G. is averaging 36 and 16??
First game of the season he put up 50 and grabbed 16, then the next game he scores 33 with another 16 rebounds, he obviously a top contender for MVP.
OUCH:
Mav's lose Richardson to torn ACL. He is expected to miss most if not all of the regular season. But if the Mav's can stay on track and get someone to fill in for him, he could be back by the postseason.
RUMORS:
Sorry none to report yet.
Well thats all for me right now, if you any of the teams have some information for me to report such as rumors just P.M. me and i will try to write something about it.
