Before the deal, Lakers cut Troy Bell.
First deal
Bulls trade: Anderson Varejao Steve Francis
Lakers trade: Darrell Arthur Stephon Marbury
Second deal
Bulls trade: Stephon Marbury Stephen Jackson
Lakers trade: Steve Francis
Bulls agree.
Arthur is a young player and I may look to resign him in the offseason.

Lakers confirm. I take on some salary, but I didn't want to bother trying for Arthur in free agency when he would cost me reward point in addition to become a legit starter. Right now, Varejao's the better player, imo.
Lakers will buyout/cut Stephen Jackson after the deal (not sure if he has two years on the contract).
Nice dealing with you, C.C.

marbury makes 23

doesnt work. marbury makes 23 francis makes 19 need to add more on the francis side, not on the marbury side the second deal? i'm sure it said "works" under the trade checker. try it yourself.

Just want to make sure, the first deal doesn't happen without the second.

my fault in this deal. i just realized (while adding players into the trade checker), i added a salary with marbs, when it should of been aaron adding a salary with francis. i got confused between the salaries. so my bad.

Instead of cutting Troy Bell, I'll send him to C.C. in the second deal. That works if you want to do it, C.C.

IT is essentially the same trade as before except now you cut Jackson and get Bell, instead of you trading Jackson and receiving Bell.

The deal was invalid. You never said you were having second thoughts. You PMd me last night asking what would make the deal work. From my perspective you wanted the deal done. Maybe you shouldnt have agreed to it in the first place.

Holy shit. Yeah I'm sure not getting a DC in made you go 0-3.
