Just Peja for Marvin is questionable to me. If you add Jin and Taft for 2 FA scrubs and a late 1st, its become a void.
Brandon, honestly it doesnt make sense to me. I understand your team is struggling, and Im sure you wanna win, but you cant give away talent in this league. You need to keep a certain amount of talent, and build on it, not give it away.

peja provides him with a better #1 option as opposed to williams...peja as a #1 could avg 25ppg also he dumps the large and long contracts of williams and taft the 2012 draft class looks to be strong and deep so that pick should be very solid
the other two players he receives have expiring contracts and provide a solid bench players in his front court
to further my argument Taft is well overpaid and his contract will be a burden on my franchise for years to come and the same could be said for Williams

this comes from the kid that offers me a bum backup center for villanueva and 2 first round picks and don't be bitter about not getting biedrins from me
and do you see tafts contract it has to be 6 yrs long and definitely not as good as his salary is paid

come on, no one in this sim cares about salary
Dont think Peja has averaged over 22ppg his entire career. I had him a #1 option and Spencer was never off my case about needed a legit scoring superstar to win. [which was true as Shawn Marion led me to a championship]
To me neither of them are that overpaid. 12 million when he'll be a very very good player isnt bad and Marvin was the #2 pick, amazing ratings and still young.
This trade is about as bad for NJ as the Joe Smith one was for you. No offence, but man i hated that deal.

I'm not bitter, that would be pretty low. You IMed me about want Andriuskevicius and I was willing to take on Villanueva's miserable contract AND give him back to you! Whatever, we don't need to engage in this. I called you out, you got touchy and brought up nonsense, let's end it at that.

Oh my goodness. Someone was actually willing to take on Charlie's salary?
(On second thought, I see why you wouldn't give up Charlie. I'd say 8 million a year for 0 MPG is a bargain, actually.)

The trade can be changed a little bit to make it more fair. That isn't really the problem I have with this trade.
The problem I have is that the Nets would be making a move to try and win now. I think that after they make this trade they still would need to make a couple more trades to make a good run. The problem is that the Nets are in the Atlantic and it is a very tight division as of now. I think the Nets are better off losing actually since they have their 1rst round pick for this year and then go and make some big trades this off-season if they choose to.
But hey I know I couldn't stand losing at the beginning of the season so I know how the Nets feel. But yet I think that they would be better off doing some minor moves this season since they have their 1rst and would have to climb a very tall latter to get on top of the Atlantic.

Ok I see your hating on me with my trade so let me explain to you were im coming from
My oldest player is 28 i have such a young team. Being this my first year in BBS I would like to compete a little bit so therefore I gave up some younger guys who will be stars for Peja and some scrubs. With this move I will have a solid team behind the arc and could run a fast pace team plus getting rid of the two biggest contracts on my team so I can load money to Brown and Martell. Now you say why I give up two potential superstars? Well i have 5 draft picks next year two of them being the nets first rounder and the hawks first rounder both bound to be lottery. My theory is I can pick up two new guys to replace the ones I got get rid of the scrubs who are in the last year of there contract and hopefully have a solid team for next year. Maybe I could of got a better deal at the time but this was an only one offered to me so I took it and ran with it.
Apoligize for any inconvienience

I dont mind that you wanna win. I dont mind that you dealt for an older player. But the deal is bad. You couldve gotten more then Peja for Marvin alone. You never even put Marv or Taft on the trade block, so you didnt even get as many offers as you could have. Im prety doubtful this deal can be fixed, as it isnt even close. Sorry Brandan.

Accepting a deal because it was the only one offered to you is the mark of a great GM.....and of someone who really cares about the league.

Accepting a deal because it was the only one offered to you is the mark of a great GM.....and someone who really cares about the league. This is my main problem. If you shop someone, take multiple offers, and get no takers, I could maybe possibly(but probably not) understand taking a deal this bad. But you didnt shop either, I know this because if you did shop Marv you woulda gotten alot more for him.

I also fully agree with the commish and the rest of the committee, Williams by himself is going to be way to good for this type of trade, furthermore the pistons pick will stink, its never better then like 28th each year and the draftes are getting thinner each year. Taft also still is very young and has potential left so could jump up, peja will start to go down, yes peja could score, but that was awhile back. Plus the league is going fairly fast so players up there in age are worth less now then at the time I did my horrid deals lol.

As for a potential revised deal...
I dont see any reason why the Nets would wanna deal anythign around Marv for Peja. Usually I try and help fix voided trades, but I cant think of a scenario where this would work.

If that isn't post-padding, I don't know what is. This guy wants the reward points!! He needs to up Marty Andriskiviskiskous's rating!
