Centers
1. Yao Ming- 32 years old....Dominating center that is usually good for 20 and 11. Also is an intimidating shot blocker, which is always a plus.
2. Wayne Cooper- 25 years old....Up and coming defender who hits the open market at just the right time. Should be good for 8 points and 10 boards with 2-3 blocks for good measure. Should be very popular among teams with cap room.
3. Samuel Dalembert- 31 years old....Has declined some, but is still a nightmare for opposing offenses. Should continue to average a double double, while also grabbing 10 boards.
4. Nene- 30 years old....His role decreased slightly last year in Washington, but he still seems able to put up a double double if given the minutes. Hard to tell if Nene fits in with the rebuilding Wiz.
5. Luke Zeller- 26 years old....Youngster who has never gotten the chance to start. This could be his year for extended minutes. Has range out to the 3 point line, and is an exellent defender and rebounder. Could be a steal.
Power Forwards
1. Al Jefferson- 26 years old....Still exteremly young, but it seems like hes been around forever. Solid inside scorer and rebounder. Is probably good for 15 and 10 as a starting power forward.
2. James Bailey- 26 years old....Aggressive defender, who can board and block shots. Also a wonderful man to man defender. With his age, and his ability to play D, he will be a hot commodity on the open market.
3. Carlos Boozer- 31 years old....Still a very good rebounder even after hitting 31. Solid inside scorer as well, probably could put up 14 and 10 in starter minutes. Not the best defender.
4. Clemon Johnson- 26 years old....Very good defender and rebounder who has never gotten a chance to play. Should get a nice contract, and some nice PT.
5. Mike Sweetney- 31 years old....He's a pefect low post player off the bench. Doesnt do much but score from the low block. Not really starter material.
Small Forwards
1. Lamar Odom- 32 years old....One of the top 5 FAs available this offseason. Has amazing all around abilities. Can rebound, score, defend and handle. Although getting up there in age he can still prouce and should get paid handsomely by someone.
2. Rashard Lewis- 33 years old....Still one of the better outside shooters in the league. His defense has declined, and his rebounding has as well, but he can stiull score 15-18 points a game.
3. Michael Cooper- 26 years old....Young, multi talented player. Not much of a scorer, but he can shoot the 3 well, and defend at the 1, 2 and 3 spots. If hes in the right situation he will flourish as a defensive minded wing.
4. Yi Jianlin- 28 years old....Played very well for most of the season last year in Phoenix. Is a solid scorer and rball handler for a 7 footer. Not much of a defender or rebounder, but he can score in bunches.
5. Damion James- 24 years old....Rugged interior scorer and defender. Plays very tough defense at the 3 and can even play the 4 in certain situations. His offensive game consists mostly of fast break dunks, and offensive rebound tip ins.
Shooting Guards
1. Richard Hamilton- 34 years old....He's getting older, but he can still score. Doesnt spend much energy on defense anymore, hed be a perfect fit as a 6th man for a contending team.
2. Allen Iverson- 37 years old....Can still score despite the increasing years. Not the scorer he was in his prime, but can still torch teams when hes feelin right. Can also play a little 1.
3. Marquis Daniels- 31 years old....Very good combo guard that can handle and score. Extremly nice size for a guy that can run the point. Has never gotten extended minutes.
4. Dajuan Wagner- 29 years old....Very good scorer who could put up 18-20 points in an up tempo offense.Decent defender, and good ball handler. Very underrated player.
5. Josh Childress- 28 years old....Was virtually invisible last year. Solid skill set, can shoot and handle. Can also defend. Would be a good pick-up for someone as a backup wing.
Point Guards
1. Stephon Marbury- 35 years old...Ya, hes old, but he can still score. Elite scoring point guard. Will score 20 and dish 8 dimes until hes 37.
2. Sebastian Telfair- 27 years old....Great ball handler that can score. Hasnt gotten a chance to play alot, but has a nice game. With the right playin time, he could put up 15 and 8.
3. Kirk Hinrich- 30 years old...Extremely good assist to turnover ratio. Not the scorer he once was, but still a nice shooter. Missed most of last year with an injury.
4. Jovan Adams- 26 years old....Was a wonderful MLE pick up for the Mavs last year. Scored 17 points, and has 8 assists a game in his first season as a starter. Showed great promise, and has a bright future.
5. Steve Francis- 35 years old....Still a wonderful scorer. Might not be cut out to be a point guard anymore. Should probably be either a combo guard off the bench, or a shooting guard.
