Franchise Player: James Worthy
Is he a franchise player? Probably not...he's not even the first option on my team. That being said he is a Ron Artest prototype and I can definately work with that. He's also really the only person on my team who it makes sense to make my franchise guy. So if you haven't gathered yet, he's my main man, but I don't think it'll make sense for him to always be the guy.
Strengths: Frontcourt depth is the main one. The Knicks have four capable big men, which is something few teams can boast.
Weaknesses: The team was kinda thrown together because I came into a precarious cap situation with no picks. Because of that we are in a transition period, so someone like Worthy has to be the franchise guy. Furthermore we have no long term solution at PG (although Terry is a steal for his contract), and questionable SF depth.
Outlook: I'd say look for this team to surprise. If Terry plays as well as I hope he does then we could be pretty darn solid. Ideally we will challenge MIA and ORL for the division title.
Block: I would like to end the season with a playoff spot and more picks than I am starting the season with.
