What's the word in the local area...what's the offer that's being talked about....if I'm Indy I don't give up Artest without getting Ike...it'd be foolish for them to take anything less, even with the guy's attitude. I hope something happens either way after tonight's game...I want to see some trades start happening.

Crappy game. Warriors were down 20, then slowly caught up and made it close. They just didnt play well overall though.
Now there is talk that Murph wont go, and that any deal will be around Pietrus.

Well, it's finally done. Artest for Peja.
I'm wondering what kind of fit Artest will be in Sacto on court. They've got a shitload of defensive woes, especially inside, and though he'll remedy it, they're still awful defensively. Other thing is, he loves to go one-on-one offensively, and doesn't love to fastbreak. Sacramento is great in both sets, though. Peja on the Pacers will be pretty nice. They're really strong working inside-out now, but I still think it's questionable for Indiana. They're not winning, and it's a stop-gap solution to keep them playoff bound.

OR NOT. Ron Artest's saga in Indiana continues on. The Pacers tried to trade Artest to the Kings for Peja Stojakovic, but ESPN's Jim Gray reports the deal is off because Artest turned it down.

It's too bad Artest is such a punk...what a waste of talent.

Today is the day. Apparently Artest will sit down with Walsh and Bird, and they will discuss the deal to Sacto. Either it gets done, or they may try to suspend him without pay. Should be interesting.
