Why? Can someone please explain this to me. I understand Johnson is a good player and he will likely mesh great with marvin, assuming that marvin does turn out the way he is projected. But 70 million for another 2 guard, in which you have two guys named Josh that are both looking decent seems like a bad idea to me. Espcecially when ur pg and center are non existent. Bet they are really kicking themselves for passing on Paul now, though knowing them they probably arent.

They are going to put JJ at the point. Being a huge suns fan, and a season ticket holder i cant wait till we play the hawks so i can boo the shit out of JJ. Why would you pass up a potential championship to go on a bad team just to be a star? Phoenix was going to match untill he said he didnt want to play here so he wouldve made the same money. Supposedly him and Amare didnt get along, but thats B.S. the suns had so much potential if he stayed. Although i do think the suns will be fine without him, maybe not as good as last year but with the way Amare continues to develop we may not need Johnson anymore. Plus this can open up room for Micheal Finley, even though i would rather have Johnson, Finley is still a great player to have cause he brings veteran leadership and already meshes well with Nash.
But all i have to say now is FUCK JJ!

The big thing for me is this....
Why trade Q unless you are 100% sure JJ is coming back? I just dont see how you can lose your 2 young wings int he same offseason. Finley is decent, but he is far from the player hae was.

Q was traded because he didnt bother to show up for the playoffs, and i think they were positive JJ was going to come back.

Now the Suns are going to have no outside shooting. Q and JJ were pretty good. Raja Bell, Boris Diaw, and Shawn Marion won't cut it IMO. They still have a pretty good team though. Diaw has some nice all around skills, I think he is pretty underratted.
