Dampier, Eschmeyer, Dickau

to Dallas for:
Laettner, Najera, 2 1sts, and $$$

I was fairly convinced that the Warriors would let Damp walk with ZERO compensation, which really sticks to the long-term and short-term Warriors plan, but Mullin really pulled something nice out of this situation... Laettner and Najera can play roles on this team, but the 2 1sts are great!

Trade can not be completed until 2 months or so, due to trading recently acquired players, so the Warriors still have a chance to screw this up...

The Mavs actually gave him $73 million . That was foolish, I mean, the guy actually said during the season that he was playing harder because he could opt out of his contract! Not to mention that Nellie doesn't know how to use a center, then again he hasn't had many to work with, Bol, Tyrone Hill, Seikaly(sp?), and the list goes on.
