cant believe there wasnt a topic for this, but anyways. what do u guys think about how they did in those 3 exhibition games? i think they didn't do as good as their expectations were. i think that they have pretty high expectations this summer, to blow every team out and capture the gold, and i think thats what they think themselves.
but in the 1st game, things looked just the way they expected topping off puerto rico
2nd game was a different story. italy shot 15-35 from 3 point line and the U.S turned the ball away 26 times and lebron had a couple travels. it was quite bad to watch italy surprisingly embarrass the US 95-78
3rd game, i didnt watch this game but heard dirk had 26 points for germany and tied it with a couple seconds left and then AI made a half-court three to win. it didn't sound like such a easy win, i think its goin 2 be real hard for usa to win it all, but hopefully they do win.

the team has no chemistry at all, i believe the good teams in the NBA would do way better then them. It's just a bunch of individuals running around, trying to show off. It's terrible...

I hope they lose.
They suck.
You win by 3 points vs Germany and you call that a win? Not by USA basketball standards.
Maybe if they get creamed, again, the best players in the NBA will get off of there asses and show some pride. I can't believe so many turn down such a honor. And why? "Because of terrorists and oh I don't want to get injured." Please we wouldnt send a team over there if it wasn't safe and you can get injured driving a vechile just as much as playing ball.
So Shaq, McGrady, JO, Garnett and so on I hope you realize what a dumb thing you did by not playing on the team. Its not like everyone is still recovering from surgery like Jason Kidd or have a court case like Kobe Bryant.
But I know that these players will not accept an inviatation even if we do get creamed.
So why not send the NBA champs starting five along with a good bench?
