Recently Danny Aige selected Al Jefferson, Delonte West and Tony Allen. All three were good picks. Jefferson in my opinion is a stud player that a lot of teams missed. He should have gone top 10 but he fell to about 15. West will be a good backup to Pierce with his great shooting ability shown in college and so far in the summer league. Allen brings all of what the celtics needed more of last year. Toughness. The celtics depended on jump shots from there players instead of going to the hoop. Allen is an atheltic guard and will be a great fit to play PG or possibly SG if needed.
So far in the summer league I have been noticing that Al Jefferson has been putting up GREAT numbers. I look at the box score and it always says 20+ with 9-10 rebounds a game with some blocks. This kid I think is the real deal. ESPN recently said he could start for the Celtics next year! An 18 year old kid has never in the history of the celtics ever started.
Thanks, Chris

Al Jefferson is a very exciting prospect. Especially on a team with no big men.
