With the Atlanta Hawks falling short of the playoffs down the stretch last year which was the first year under new management heade by Bill Bendernagel. It's hard to see where the direction will take the Hawks. He tried to develop a new crop of talent to blend in with the veterans which provided an exciting but inconsistant team. The Georgians were dissappointed to say the least. People feel that Bill may have been to quick to pull the trigger on the Mcgrady deal. With the Hawks having a mediocre pick at best and is in the next century as far as salary cap goes. This looks like the Atlanta Hawks of the future unless Bill can pull a deal off for a legit 4. The questions that still remain is will young prodigy Kevin Branch live up to the hype. Will Kiki finally step up and be worthy of the number 4 pick overall in the 2009 draft. Who will step up to be the leader of this squad. Rudy Gay and Tony Parker showed flashes but will they be enough to be consistant leaders on and off the court. When will Bill Bendernagel light a fire under their ass? Is the future bright or blinding?
