Disappointing to see Adams go to Sacramento, but there was no way to offer him the 9.5 million he got from Sacramento. Just means that Francis will be getting a shot at running the point with Leavell ready to take over the reins if need be.

a one year contract for Adams is a mistake in my opinion... I think any contract for Adams over 5 mill is a mistake. Eaton is the same player as Adams and no one offered him over 2 mill.

Agreed completely. I remember commenting last year at some point that solid PG's are common nowadays, yet they are always overpaid. Still though, if you are going to sign Adams you might as well make sure you get Bird rights out of it.

Although itll be a miracle if Adams isnt traded.

Why is a one year a mistake for him, I needed a backup pg and got one rated A in potential this way if he sucks I can just let him go, if he is a stud after tc easy for me to extend him at a lesser cost.

I too agree about Adams. He does have an A potential, but I feel that his stats were inflated slightly because he was playing with some great shooters and could score as a 4th or 5th option (which he averaged nearly 17 a game I believe). I know that I'd love to have Eaton on my team but dont have the space to offer. 9.5 million for a backup PG is rather steep, especially for only a one year contract.
