Won't they either have to cut their entire team or trade away most of the picks off anyways? lol

i suppose if the whole league decided to revolt we could all refuse trades and make him either cut his current team and play with all rookies or end up getting really good picks cheap because he has to trade them. interesting.....

well by that time i'll have five guys under contract...so i'll take my 10 picks and gladly part ways with the other five (i owe boston one)...but most people will want a piece in this draft so i doubt i'll have to do it

If teams were smart, especially the "bottom feeders"...they'd avoid trading for the picks...cuz they could end up getting them for free if/when he forfeits a few of them. Plus he wont be trading the worthwhile picks...so its better to keep potential future top 10 picks anyways.

if someone else gets the #1 pick would you trade your 16 picks for MJ?? If I didn't have the 2 or 3 pick then sure...but the top 10 is so good I'd have to think about it. I just want one of the big four and I'd be happy...anything more will just be a nice bonus.

Speaking of Stokcton and point guards in general, I learned why MRR's career was so short. He was booted out of the league for failing multiple drug tests. Probably why most of us have never heard, or barely heard of him.

Yea, I never heard of him until BBS...I looked him up and found the same thing...David Stern said on Mike and the Mad Dog (NY Sports Talk Show) that kicking MRR out of the league was the hardest thing he's ever had to do.

Yeah, he was on MSG the other night on Brandon Tierney's show talking about it. Man, you could see he was a recovering druggie. Just spoke in bits and pieces and was obviously a shadow of his old self.
