Maybe you should sim 10 days on the weekend. That would be pretty cool. Then just do 5 during the weekdays. Just wondering. If not, one day should be 10.

That is true. Maybe just on saturday or sunday. I really don't care which day, just thought we could do it that way. But the year would end pretty quickly.

I'm down with more days...we can at least try it and see how it goes. That being said I dont feel it necessary at all to make such a move

Yeah, I don't see a need to change things up too much....like I've said in past posts I think a 10 day sim can really hurt a team. If a big player goes down it doesn't give them a chance to change things up in their lineups or make a deal. The only thing I'd say we can do is add another 5 day sim during the week but that will be too much work for Spencer.

Wasnt this league actual time league at one point? There is no need to sim more days than already are being simmed.

I wouldnt mind another sim day of 5 games then the offseason could last alittle longer maybe or run a preseason for like 2 sims for like the younger players of most teams.

That's a cool idea, wish I was here then It was a great idea and the ratings in BBS went hand-in-hand with real life performances in NBA. i.e. lets say Michael Redd is an average player in BBS, getting 20mins a game and averaging roughley 12ppg. While in the NBA he's averaging 35+ mins and 26+ppg. His ratings in BBS would be adjusted as closely as possible to match his real-life NBA statistics The problem though(which eventually was the reason as to why we have the current sim schedule) you can only do that for so long. An NBA season drags out from Novemeber to June... an extremely long time. There's no way ANY sim league can go at that pace, and survive. Yes the BBS did NOT sim even THAT slowly back in the day, even though we were simming more slowly then now... we were still a few months ahead of the NBA schedule so it was hard to keep up with real time stats anyways. Sim the whole goddamn thing already... I know I aint going no where no matter what deals I pull.

No reason to make it quicker than it already is, it is just about perfect as is IMO.
