I have talked to Basketface on PM, and told him of my decision. I told him maybe at some point he could come back, for now this is the best thing for the BBS.

Well, I will say the team looks nice ratings wise. Though, this team has way to many underachivers it seems. Not saying this was why your fired, just saying since you brought up the change in your team. Saying that though, if people want you back then I have no problem going on the waiting list.

I explained why I wanted to replace you, and Ive had more then one conversation with you over PM with your lack of direction. Its awesome that youre active, and its awesome that "you" think the team is better, but I told you I think you have no direction. You have talent, but you trade and trade and cant seem to win regularly. remember this team was a championship team when you got it. To say its better now baffles me.

Also, Ive gotten multiple complaints about Basketface over the course of his stay here. Ill be the bad guy and step up and replace him, I have no problem with that. But to say youre getting multiple PMs from guys saying you were treated unfairly is quite odd to me.

Im very happy with the decision I made, and it was not a spur of the moment decision. Andy I know this is an uncomfortable situation for you to walk into, but this will die down and things will be cool. knicks were the no.1 seed in the east last year, look at them now.
sonics had the best record 2 seasons ago, and now look at them.
theres others on this list too
as for teams that trade and trade and trade, well we all know who the offenders are there.
nothing personal against these other gm's but just stating the facts.
do you realise how funny it is that youre firing somone for trading for talent?

Not questioning your motives to fire Dan, Spence but I think that there were at least one or two GM's that deserve to go before he did just on the sense of activity.

not too much beef about it i was taken back because i didn't see it coming. he's always been nice to me. he's a tough guy to trade with but other than that i have no problems. Im sure he will be back .

Welcome, Andy. You've been really cool about whole situation. I will say that I'm sad to see Dan go, because he's a nice guy who puts a lot of time into his team. I think he deserves a team in any league, but the decision was made, and I'm not arguing it. I'd love to see him back in BBS some day, but for now, sorry Dan.

I replaced you because I felt at this point Houston was a weak spot. I owe it to all the GMs to get the best GMs in here, and I improved the GM corps with this move.

As far as Im concerned this is done. Basketface is welcome to maybe come back at some point if we have an open spot, but I make no promises.
