BBS being my first sim league ever I thought all leagues had curtious GM's, active to the brink and a fun environment were everyone could laugh and do what they signed up for, lead there teams. I was shocked what I came across when I decided to go "league hunting." For Example, Me Aaron and Dan signed up for another league that looked very enticing except that when we got there, the forums were empty like a desert wasteland and activity was in the brink. The Commish turned out to be on a power trip not listening to any ideas and saying "but thats not what I intending the league to have" to any open criticsim he was given. After waiting for two weeks and not simming one game the three of us left, very nicely indeed and showing much class. I was disgusted by some of the GM's remarks such as this to our leaving.

The ironic part is that my resignation post was the most active on the entire forum!
The point im trying to come across is that we should recognize Spence for the great job he is doing as GM of this league he is really making it a fun environment were we can talk about basketball which is the main point of these sim leagues. Leagues like this one are hard to come by and Spence does a great job weeding out the bad GM's and making this more of a community then just your regular basketball sim. I know I owe Spence a lot for giving me something to do in my free time and I bet that a lot of the GM's would agree with me that Spence is one of the best if not the best GM they have ever come across in there nomadic travels of these leagues. Spence keep up the good work your doing a great work and putting all these other GM's who think that there leagues are superior to shame.

Nice, playroc was horrible. Spence does do a great job. Best part of that post, lumley campaign. Priceless.

I just went over to Playroc and checked things out. Looks mediocre at best. One of the biggest mistake is waiting for activity to start before you sim. That just never works. Sim and sim consistently and GMs will follow.
I appreciate all the good words Pig, Im glad BBS is what it is.

What is the AIM of the guy that wrote this? No Idea. I have the playroc buddy list, but do not know which one. I tried to find a GM list, but couldnt find one. Just wanna make sure I know never to hire that guy. |

Great job Spencer, actually Aaron doesnt do many moves in Xba but he does write some articles and there is alot of former bbs members there too.
