With the injury bug plaguing what seems to be half his team General Manager Dave Krupinski has done his best to put the best product on the floor and hang on to his playoff spot. With the huge acquisitions of Dooling and Boozer it has made all of us forget that hot shooter Hairston and Starting point Chris paul will be out for the rest of the regular season. We all have fear of what Detroit will be like when they are all healthy but the question is do they have the squad to hang on with the return of Jermaine just days away. They are 3.5 games up on the Hawks and the Wizards and let's not count out the recently emerging Pacers who are only 5.5 out with the huge acquisitions of Redd and Brand. So the question is Will the Pistons hold on? The true test for the Pistons will be now with 9 out of the next 10 games against teams with a 500 record or better with the Hawks for a game. The Hawks on the other hand have 9 of there final 14 games under 500 including games against the weaker Atlantic Division. The Wiz still have 10 games against teams over 500 including a 4 games in 4 days stretch. The Pacers have the toughest schedule with 10 out of the final 13 against teams 500 or better. It's not a foregone conclusion that Detroit is gonna make it to the playoffs but one thing is fure sure it should make for an interesting month of basketball.
