As of the 2008 Draft, you will be able to offer a third year to 2nd round picks. The third year will be 600k, and you must post in the weight room before the start of the season whether you choose to extend the 2nd rounder for the third year. Once the season starts, you cannot extend 2nd rounder for a third year.
