Each team has 1 offer per year, and can only offer that after the All-Star break. This not only saves time for the council, but allows the league to have a free agency period in the offseason.
So in summary...
Starting next year.....
You only get 1 extension offer....
and you can only offer after the All-Star break

One per team.
You get one chance to extend one player. If you cant do that then the player goes to free agency.
Remember, FBB doesnt have a way to do in season extensions, so even the one offer is more then youd get in a normal league.

I can see a mixed reaction to this... but lets face it, free agency period just got a whole lot better.

I think this is actaully a good idea.
It sure will make free agency alot better. Also should actually limit the overpaid players, since you can only extend one player per season starting next year.
I think it also really makes GMs think about who is important to their team and who isn't.
Just one question, will you guys take into account greed, play for a winner, and loyalty ratings too? I'm just curious.
