I think the Spurs will forever be cursed with bad luck... after all the stupid moves (KG, Duncan, Webber, Marbury, Nowitzki, etc etc), it seems like my stupidity has lead me to be cursed.
This season I had high hopes for making it to the playoffs for the fourth straight season row, mainly because I had the same team I did last season, in fact this season's team may have been a better team then lasts with the addition of Kenny Thomas... what happens? I'm out of playoff contention, atleast 8 games back midway through the season, so I figure to start rebuilding.
Lottery, based on my record, I should have had the #4 pick instead I get the #5(even though Gibson was gone by then, but still)... now during FAs... I've offered big money to many players and have been kindly shunned by these players who have gone to some non-contending teams offering much less money... what will the next season hold? Gerald Green, Tiago Splitter, and Kendrick Perkins with career ending injuries... who knows...
