Is it just me or has he made some "head-scratcher" trades? Not bashing you, by the way... we're all entitled to our opinions.

I agree, not that I run a great ship myself but I thought he was a contender now he has 3 great players for 2 positions...

Shaq is kinda scary. No team has won with him in BBS. Hes also getting older. AI and Gil to me is a very exciting backcourt. Damn, I might even try Arenas at SF and run like crazy. But then again, its not conventional.

Though personally I would have taken a 1 year run at the title with Nash, Ray Ray, and Shaq, I can definitly see what he was thinking. Hes done enough with his team to not be questioned... we'll see how it works out in the long run.

I am not worried. I made these recent trades because I had a feeling Ray and Shaq's rating were gonna go down a little. So I took advantage on dealing them for some value. I really like arenas and I think he will fit good with my team. My team is still the team to beat in the Atlantic and I believe I will win it for the third year in a row. So you guys can question my decision, but when it comes down to it I will have more wins then the Spurs and Bucks combined.

Up until this year... I made the playoffs for 3 consecutive seasons.. 1 more then you. ;D
I'm not saying that you will or will not win more games then me this season(even with those trades you're team is still much better then mine) but I feel that you had a better shot at the championship with Shaq and Ray..

But then again, its not conventional. Arenas has not been as productive as he should be(maybe a change of scenery would help) AI is equivalent to Shaq in ppg... yes a 3 year difference but both have hit the "age of decline" No team has won with Shaq... then again... in the last 3 seasons no one has touched the Bulls or has had the talent the Bulls have had.. so that's kind of an incoherent statement. ;D

Shaqs teams have not sniffed the finals, or the conference finals.

Regardless of who else has been on his team, Shaq has not been successful thus far. Which was kinda my point.

I give Miami a for their effort. Miami is one of the more active teams always looking to improve. And I think if you look at his team, he is in a pretty good position. He easily could trade AI, Nash, or Gilbert Arenas. Or keep the 3 guards and do something diffrent. His choice, his team.

Regardless of who else has been on his team, Shaq has not been successful thus far. Which was kinda my point. Are you talking about statistically? Because he's been a monster... So in essence, Golden States team which has never made it to the Western Conference Finals yet has argueably one of the best teams in the league... if they were to trade Dirk for K Mart or Marbury for an Arenas, it would seem reasonable because Marbury and Dirk would be considered "unsuccesful" and "scary", yes and I'm aware that both were on Detroit and Chicago... I just don't buy that arguement.

My point is, Shaq does not guarantee a shot at a title any more then Gilbert Arenas does.
Arenas has 1 title, Shaq has none.
Shaq is a monster statistially, but so is Troy Hudson if you give him enough shots.
