The amount of low balling in free agency is ridiculous. I love it.
Larry Hughes, Udonis Haslem, Malick Badiane [good ratings], Delonte West, Jarvis Hayes, Hassan Adams [good ratings] signed for the 2 year minimum.
Absolutely Fantastic. ;D We push for very strict in season extensions only to see decent players get low balled in free agency.
I find it amusing.

This will hopefully limit the amount of in season offers. In season shouldnt be for mediocre guys anyway, it should be for stars.

Lots of guys signing for ALOT less than offers that were turned down in season. With only 5-6 teams with any cap room during FA, and only 2-3 of them having "significant" cap room, that is what will happen.

I didnt like your attitude then, and honestly I still dont like it now. I dont appreciate your attitude toward this league, or how you seem to do just enough to stay in the league. You repeatedly say, "im active", and yet I hear from multiple GMs that you are hard to get ahold of. I dont appreciate you being "one" of the least active GMs, and then making any comments on new rules. I also dont appreciate you saying I dont care about the GMs in this league, when in fact I go out of my way to run a league that I feel everyone enjoys alot. You are in the minority on how you view things Jeremy, and when you attack this league, or how I run it, its gonna piss me off. If you could step beyong yourself, or whats best for you for a second, wed all be better off for it. |

This really pisses me off. Nobody from this board has ever emailed me. I've gotten less than 5 pm's, and replied to all within 3-4 days (I'll admit, I don't look up there all the time, b/c I rarely get pm's).
As for AIM, if somebody IM's me, and I'm online, I respond. I don't always leave away messages, but if you (not you Spencer) hover over my faded name on your buddy list, and it says I've been idle for 3 hours, and its 3 in the am, you can probably assume I've went to bed. The only IM's I've ever not responded to were ones that I got in the middle of the night, and when I woke up, said IM'er was offline.
If somebody wants to talk to me, it isn't hard to do. You should know this Spencer, we've talked several times on IM.
As for being active, I'm "putting forth the effort" to be more visible. Don't expect a ton of trades out of me, that isn't the way I manage. We've had that discussion before. But I'm trying to post more, or whatever, since that seems to be what some people want to see.
But I challenge anybody that told Spencer I'm hard to get ahold of to be a man and post in this thread. I doubt it happens though, b/c like I said, I'm always around. Too often in fact.
I'm only saying this once.....but I'm sorry if you thought I had a bad attitude towards your league. That couldn't be more false, as this is a league I enjoy. If it wasn't, I would have been gone along time ago.

This isnt even about your activity Jeremy. This is mostly about your negativity with the Reward System, and you saying I dont "bounce" new rules off GMs. I always post new rules before they are official, and I did even with the Reward Points System.
I think Im also still pissed at your "posts for extensions being deleted mysteriously". I highly doubt this happened, and I really dislike that you cant follow through with simple things like getting extensions in before the season ends. I have so much stuff to do, and I make deadlines for a reason, and Id really like if you could follow them without lying about a mysterious thread deletion being the reason.
